Playing Mavec is quite straightforward. This simple guide will ease you into the world of Mavec and point out all the things you need to know to get the most out of the game. So lets get straight in. Use up/down to navigate the topics and enter to exit

Moving around in Mavec is quite easy once you learn the basics. Mavec is turn based and your characters position is kept on the central server. Your character can move one square per minute (or more if using transport). To move your character you need to plan a route. Choose Plan Route from the Action menu. Then using the keypad (1=north,2=north east etc) or a joypad choose the route you wish to follow. To mark a waypoint either click 5 on the keypad or click the joypad (or whatever the action button is on your directional device). A little green trail will show the route you choose. You can mark out a few points but your route is limited in how far you can plan ahead. Once you have a route you can either choose End Route from the menu or simply choose Sync.
